my phone has recentley tried downloading an android upgrade but now t turns on and off what can i do

it sometimes works but only for about 2 minutes then it shuts off and resets and gets stuck on the sony screen again turrning itself on and off the only way to turn it off is to push the off button with a needle i own a Sony experia M4 Aqua
