How to close/stop a downloaded running app, on my Irulu 10?

I need to close "Comcast Connect" in order to upgrade "Connect" to version 5.2.

Welcome to the forums. Go to Settings, Apps, Apps Manager (or All), find Connect and do a force stop. Surprised it has to be shut down to upgrade though.
