I would like to change the location of the punctuation button on my keyboard. Help!

I have a Samsung S8 and frankly I love it. Only thing is when I'm typing with one hand when driving or robbing a bank or similar my little thumb can't reach all the way over to the left side of the screen to tap the punctuation button this results in hand cramp or a dropped phone or the bank robbery fails. Please help!

AFAIK remapping keys on your phone's default keyboard requires it to be rooted. However there are a lot of third-party keyboards in the Play Store that include a lot of customization options, hopefully someone with experience with them will chime in.
