May Samsung Galaxy Core 2 keeps on vibrating even though the phone vibration is turned off, so as the vibration on notification in the messages. I don't want it to vibrate coz it consumes more power/battery. Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Where have you turned off the vibration? There can be several different ways to turn off vibration -- it's possible to selectively turn off vibration for incoming calls, for the keypresses, or to turn off vibration completely.
