My samsung galaxy tablet has had a new update which caused the original keyboard to vanish and replace the keyboard I well known, to one that covors half the screen and I can't move around. I want to change this keyboard back to the one I had originally so I can type freely again. Is there a possible way where I can go into settings and change something there or download a app that can maybe make it back to it's original state?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that you want the floating keyboard back?

You PM'd me that you were in fact asking about the floating keyboard. I assume you're using the Samsung Keyboard, right? Can you find anything in the keyboard settings for the floating keyboard?

If they took the option away, you could always install Gboard (Google's keyboard app), which recently added a one-handed keyboard that is smaller and can be moved around.
