I'd like that when I return to my phone, and the screensaver is on, and in the meantime some (any) notification arrived, some place on the screen will blink, so I'll not need to turn on the display to check if a notification has arrived. Is there an application that does this?

Currently I do not lock the screen. I use Samsung A5.

The Galaxy A5 does not a LED notification light. That's a little green light on the corner of the phone that blinks blue, green, red, or whatever when there is a notification. On Samsungs, AFAIK only the S series and the Note series has LED notifications.

However, on other Samsungs like the A5, you can go to settings>accessibility>hearing>flash notification and turn it on. The camera flash will blink a couple of times every couple of minutes when you have notifications.
