How to Upload Pics From Gallery on S7 to Drive?

Hi,

I'm still getting used to my new S7 after using the S3 for years.

I used to be able to select multiple photos from my gallery and upload them to my drive.

I don't seem to be able to have that option on the 7.

Any suggestions, please?

Also, is there a way to automatically sync photos taken to the drive?

It sounds like Google Photos is in your future. Does that if you use Google Drive.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have Google Photos now. I do not believe I had this previously (I assume this was not available for the S3?)

So, is Google Photos the way to manage pics now as opposed to the Gallery?

If so, what is the Gallery good for now?

Pretty much nothing. Many people (myself included) have reported seeing just gray boxes where the pictures should be.

I must say that I don't get some of these "upgrades". It seemed perfectly reasonable that my pics on the S3 would go to the gallery, and that from there I could send pics to either my drive or to others.

And, is there a way to set up S7 to that any pics taken go into my drive or basically is that what Google pics is about? In other words, if I take a pic and happen to lose my phone, I can access the pics from Gmail or Google account?
