Where are my app icons?

A

AC Question

Hello, I have a Galaxy J7 Perx running android 7.0 Whenever I open my app drawer, only half of my apps are showing icons. I do know that some are in groups, but there are many I cannot find at all. I go to apps>settings>apps and it lists all of my apps on my phone, however, many in the list cannot be found anywhere or I cant open them or see them. For instance, It shows that I have Hancom Office S Viewer. When I click on it I can Disable it or Force stop it. I just cant find it. Dictionary is another one. Mobile ID is another. Any ideas about this? thanks for the help in advance, P

Welcome to Android Central! Some of the apps you see in the App Manager work "behind-the-scenes," as it were, and aren't standalone apps themselves. For example, the Hancom Office S Viewer is likely invoked automatically whenever you try to view certain document filetypes.
