OMADM repair/replace

Since I've had this phone, the OMADM has had a "bug". Now, it's gotten to the point where is causing problems connecting to the WiFi. So, I've found where I can D/l version2.0 but do not know if that's the thing to do, or somehow, fix ver.1? In a quandry
