email contacts

On the priv why can you not bring up a list of email contacts the way you can with phone contacts. Also is the only way an email gets automatically added to your contacts without having to do it by sending or receiving an email from someone.

Yes, you can bring up your full list of contacts when composing or replying/forwarding an existing email message. Put the cursor in an email to or cc filed, then tap the "+" sign at the right. This will bring up your contacts, where you can scroll or search.

I don't follow your second question. Yes, an email becomes available automatically if someone sends you a message or you send one to them. (Or you add them manually.) I don't see how you would expect an email address to be automatically added in another way?
