AOL email message not populating

[AC Question]

I have a Droid Turbo 2. All was working fine until the last few weeks. My email will say I have messages (I use AOL), but when I go into the message all I can see if the to and from info. If I hit show more details it just gives me more email address info. If I hit view entire message I get nothing. It does keep saying internal error.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've also tried taking Mail Droid on and off. I can read my emails perfectly fine in Mail Droid.

I also keep having contacts disappear or switch form a name to unknown.

Verizon is stumped. Any thoughts?

Use Mail Droid. Evidently AOL changed something that your other email app doesn't like.

As for the contacts, always enter a new contact as a Google account contact (the pulldown at the top of the entry screen). As long as you have Contacts sync enabled, they'll be synced to Google Contacts. (If any disappear, go there, click More, click Restore contacts..., and you can restore any that have been deleted in the past 30 days.)

Same here with the original Droid Turbo. Looks like I'll try Mail Droid... Dumb AOL!

Went ahead with "Aqua Mail" since it had a better rating than Mail Droid. Works like a charm. Thanks to the alternative mail app suggestion.
