    Hello all,

I received my brand new moto e4 today. The first thing i did was put a 128gb MicroSD Card in it. However, within an hour of using it, the phone seems to have forgotten the SD card, and cannot find it again. What should do?

Welcome to Android Central. Go to Settings, Storage and unmount the card. Remove it and try in computer to see if its okay. If so, put back in phone and see if the phone accepts it.

Did you let it format as the default - adoptive storage? If you did, you don't have an external SD card logically - the phone 'adopts' the SD card as part of internal storage. Which is probably best for a phone with only 16GB of total internal storage. But if you want to use it as a discrete card (meaning that you can store files, like audio, video, pictures, etc. on it, but you don't actually gain much space by moving apps to it), reformat it, either in the phone, or in a PC formatting it as FAT32.
