Screen dimmed all the way to black using Twilight, what can I do?

I am new to smartphones... I get headaches within seconds of looking at the screen, so I have to dim it as much as possible. I dimmed the screen and then used the Twilight app to change the color. I was playing around with it and accidentally slid the dimmer in the app all the way and now the screen is totally black. Is there any way to fix this? Will the app turn off once the battery dies? I am so frustrated and feel like such an *****! The phone is a Yota phone 2 (which I bought for the epaper side, but I can't change the settings on that side). Arrgh!!!

Are you sure it's completely black? Should be able to see something if you are in a room with no light. I have no idea how to do it on your phone, but you should be able to shut it off and start it in safe mode. Safe mode disables all 3rd party apps so it would be disabled, than you should be able to uninstall it and reboot your phone like normal and reinstall the app.
