Did you do a factory reset?

Not even a factory reset will help in hiding that from disk diggers. Just overwrite it with something else you're ok with others finding if they use disk digger on it. Put videos or something then delete it. When you use disk digger, it will find the last files deleted.

Well, yes, if you want it gone. Are you selling or giving the device to someone else?
Just deleting filed and not over writing them with something else will make them visible in a recovery app.
Like chanchan05 said the only way to prevent a file from being seen is to over write the same space it took up. But a factory reset will work as well, which should be done if you are getting rid of the device
