Fastboot devices unable to detect my Moto G3

I am trying to unlock the bootloader of moto g3 but the command "fastboot devices" is not detecting the phone and "fastboot oem get_unock_data" is showing waiting for device.

Welcome to the forums. Do you have USB debugging enabled? Is there an OEM unlock option in Settings?

That's because you're using an old version of fastboot.
I experienced this very same one
If after installing your normal ADB & Fastboot drivers, you still don't get detection then use the version of fastboot mentioned in this post. Its the latest
