Bluetooth not pairing

[AC Question]

Hi. My father has a S7 edge. He's has had it connected to his cars built in hands free Bluetooth for a while now with no problems. It's disconnected now when he searches for it it finds it ok. But the cars bluetooth is asking for a password but the phone won't bring up a keyboard for me to add the password when trying to pair to each other. The car connects to other things fine. Any help?
