Does the trouble persist in Safe Mode?

No it does not. I can still take pictures with the back cam but whenever i try to change it to front cam. It doesn't work. It can't change to front cam at all.

If the trouble does not persist in Safe Mode, a third-party app is causing it.

And, just in case you misunderstood the question, or we misunderstood your answer, if you still can't switch to the front camera in Safe Mode, the front camera will have to be replaced. Bring the phone to a reputable repair shop.
