I know that all V20's have encryption turned on by default (b/c android nougat).
Does that mean doing a simple factory reset is enough to make all data unrecoverable?
I was considering zeroing out the phone, but I'm not going to bother if factory reset is enough.

Welcome to Android Central! That should be enough, unless maybe you're selling it to some black hat hacker. Just remember to remove your Google account before the factory reset -- otherwise, the buyer will encounter Factory Reset Protection, which will ask them for your Google account and password.

I got my phone ready for reselling. I pulled the SIM card and destroyed that. I think it was just an extra precaution that wasn't really necessary but never hurts!
