How do I stop these ads?! \(909)/

[AC Question]

I downloaded an app that was supposed to clear all viruses from my phone but now ads keep popping up. Even when I'm not on it. I deleted it and its still happening... T^T The app was "Doctor Clean - Speed Booster". But it also could have been an update, because I got a warning about a virus around the same time I updated an app- "Movie Star Planet". Please help me if you know whats going on. Thank you s2

When you uninstalled the app, did you Clear Cache, Clear Data, Force Stop, and Uninstall?

If so, do the ads persist in Safe Mode?
