How do I stop Groupon ads?

After unlocking my S5, a circle (in motion) appears "releasing" God knows what, and then a white check mark when "released." Groupon ads appear immediately after. Very annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! That sounds like adware that could be part of some app you installed. Does the lockscreen look different than usual? You might have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.
