I have locked my stolen phone with google find my device. I was able to get it back. However, I do not remember the password I set when I locked it. Does anyone know the way to reset it?

If it were that simple, the thief (if the phone is stolen) could unlock it too, so there wouldn't be any reason to lock it. The password is about the only way.

LG Nexus 4. As it was locked with google find my device the natural way would be to use same application. The only problem is that it does not allow to reset password that was set by the same application. There must be a way to fix it. I am sure I am not the first one who did not wrote password while locking phone.

^ That's probably true, but Google are already trying hard to help people recover their phones. It is perhaps not expecting too much that the owner of the phone contribute a little to the effectiveness of Find My Device by making a note of passwords.
