My new LG G5 will not update

[AC Question]

This is a new rs988 lg g5. Bought it for the the ability to remove the battery. This phone will not download any updates even after restarting and resetting several times... Can't even cancel the update to start over. Even if I power off the phone and restart. When I turn the phone on again, it's still says downloading. Even when downloading the progress continues to say zero. Rest the phone and tried again. Same problem. Any ideas? Thanks for all responses.

Check with your carrier. If it's not their update, contact LG. (Unless wherever you bought it is willing to exchange the phone.)
