Getting unwanted texts and pictures from somebody downloaded cover dating app

Someone is texting me and sending pictures don't know how . I downloaded a cyber dating app . Wondering if I got hacked

Is it just one number? If so, just block said person. Did the cyber app say it needed access to your phone contacts and such? If yes, did you ALLOW it?
This may not be a hack, you may have simply given the app permission to access your info

Once someone like that gets your number, they'll keep sending you texts and pictures. The phone doesn't have to get hacked - they can hear you telling someone your phone number. As mhinc said, block the number. (Whatever you do, don't respond to it. That just verifies that they got an actual cellphone.)
