Why won't my headphone jack work ?

[AC Question]

Whenever I plug my headphones in , the signal would pop up , but it would go away right after . The only way it would continue playing is if I tilt the tip a certain way . As soon as I let go it stops again . I checked for lint but there is nothing there ! What can I do to fix it ?

Welcome to Android Central. The jack is either a little too big or the contacts are a little out of place. The same could be said for the headphone plug. Have you tried other headphones?
