Can't enable Google Assistant in my phone

My phone is Android 6.0 but I can't change Google Now to Google Assistant. I read from Google's support center, and did everything step by step. But still it's same. I'm beta tester in Google and Google Services, and updated them. HEEELP!

clear cache and data of the play store and google app
it worked with me

Go into system apps google and then play store. Click on storage then clear data on both apps. Then it should work. Make sure default language is English US and if need be reboot phone after you clear data. This works for me.

help i can't get my Google assistant to show up on my marshmallow LG rebel 3. Ive done everything in the walkthroughs YouTube videos and other topics about it. It still won't show up or activate. Please help.
