I am looking for a way to use my own notification sound

The phone is a HTC U Ultra with Android ver. 7.0.
I have been looking for an app to do it but without luck.
I have also tried to find the sond library but it seems that there isn't such one

Welcome to the forums. After moving the file to the phone, have you tried a restart?

I have the same problem, since i don't know where to insert the file i want to use as sound

Make sure you're copying the sound file to the Notifications directory on Internal Storage. It has to be an mp3, wav, or ogg file.

For a notification sound, it goes into the Notifications folder.

To manipulate a sound file (make it shorter, or select a small portion of a longer recording, or to change the volume), use Ringtone Maker.

To find free sounds, try ZEDGE. they have an enormous library. Or you can use a sound recorder to make your own sound file.

I also like Ringdroid, which is an old but reliable app.
