How do I get rid of the "software update" notification that appears every time I start my phone?

Everytime I power up/restart my phone a notification appeaes for software update, something about registering the device? I do the steps and accept the update, then at the bottom of the screen appears "Re-registered", then after about 10 seconds a message pops up saying "The newest updates have already been installed" and then the notification about the software update doesnt appear until the next power up.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, if possible on whatever device you have.
