An App Manager that is part of my antivirus program listed 899mb of old/duplicated set-up files that are stored on my Tab2 and suggested that the stored data be removed to reclaim that space.

When I try to remove the listed files I get a box saying that they cannot be removed.

    What can I do?

Welcome to Android Central. You can't delete system files unless you have rooted the device. That carriers its own hazards and issues so I would suggest you ignore the app manage advice.
