Android zte grand 5.0

Av out. Meaning , red, white, yellow, headphone port.

So I have come across a few of these cables recently, and read they are used for display to TV, not smart TV, regular rca, HDMI... I tried connecting thinking it would show or drop down menu would appear, no luck.

How do I connect the av out from my tablet?
Already searched the app store , no avail.

Someone answer please, only form of entertainment to TV in my room is my tablet, everything else short circuit, or died in flood, and ps3lens into ps2 is harder than I thought...

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model name? I can't find a "Grand 5.0." Is it the Grand X?

To connect via HDMI cable, the phone has to support either MHL or SlimPort, the two standards for HDMI adapters. If you don't see the phone listed here, it's not supported, and you won't be able to connect the phone to a TV via a cable to mirror the screen.

Your other option would be to cast the screen wirelessly with something like a Chromecast.
