I have a new LG K8 (2017) that was purchased for me by a friend from the US, but unfortunately it's displaying SIM locked and I can't use the phone with other carriers, I have tried purchasing a an unlock code but device does not display where to enter the code, pls what do I do.
The device seems to be locked to a US. Cellular One carrier, no provisions for where to enter the code, I was told to try a process but the process can only work with GSM and my device is CDMA and LTE.
