Unlocked Note 8 vs Tmobile Note 8

I recently purchased a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 8. After playing with it for a bit I realized the T-Mobile boot logo and pre-installed software takes away from the full experiences of the phone. I want to get the unlocked version to bypass all that junk. Is there any set backs to getting an unlocked galaxy note 8 and do you get all the carrier features?
