Most of the camera thread talk about getting a 3rd party app to get all of the special features. What I am looking for is a camera app with the best auto-mode. It would be nice if it can enable HDR by default and have some way of compensate for back lighting.
I am also curious if 3rd party app are inferior to the stock app for picture quality. For example, I am wondering if the stock app has some device specific optimization that isn't available to a general third party app?
By the way, this question is for my mom, who can barely use a camera. She is currently using a Honor 5x. On that camera, it appears that HDR picture generally look a little better than the non-HDR but there's no way to default it to HDR.
