    Windows 10 does not recognize any picture files from my Galaxy G5 when i connect phone to computer. Is there a workaround for this?

    There should be a pop up on your phone when you connect it to the computer, it needs to be set to a multi media device if I remember correctly. I haven't plugged a phone into a computer since Windows 7 to be honest.

    I usually move photos by plugging a flash drive into my phone, or taking the SD card out and using a card reader. Files can be moved wirelessly too with Sidesync, and a number of cloud services.

    Far easier to use Google Photos on both devices. No need to connect via wires.

    fethers, look in Windows for the phone, open it and you should see a folder named Phone. Look in there for a folder named DCIM. Look in there for a folder named Camera. Pictures you took with the camera should be in there. (If you have any other albums, look in folders with the name of the album (in DCIM) and those pictures should be in those folders.
