Recently on my Samsung Galaxy S4, whenever I go into a Yahoo news item, after a few seconds I get a pop up that tells me I am one of just 10 people chosen by Amaxon to wing an Iphone something or other.
All I have to do is to click on OK to confirm that I own the device and anwer a few simple questions.
It looks very much like a genuine Amazon page, and I just shut down that browser. I only get thins on my phone, not my PC.
This must be a scam of some sort, and I can't be the only person continually getting this offfer.
Any ideas on how to stop it?.
I have the chrome ad blocker ON

    Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! I'd suspect it's just an annoying popup ad associated with the site. Even though it's Yahoo, I wouldn't be surprised that this stuff happens there.

You could try clearing the cache/data for Chrome in the App Manager.
