screen won't activate

my screen won't activate black screen but it's still working just can't see the screen

My Moto Z Force is pretty new., late Spring>> It gets hot at times., the battery doesn't last as long and now today a black screen., when I get it on there is a Caution warning??? What is happening., Never dropped and never near water??

Push both side buttons at once to reset.... I had to re-charge mine.. still don't know if it will work...
