Why, when i press my home button, does my phone reboot?

I have a LG-E670 and whenever i tap the home button, to go to my home page obviously or if i want to view what apps i have open, it automatically reboots my phone. I don't know what I can do to fix it and it's extremely tedious, and annoying to work with. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! I can't find an LG E670 on Google. Do you mean the Optimus S (LS670)? Does it have a physical Home button, or an onscreen one?

Can you confirm this is the Optimus S you're talking about?
