I have a Google Android and Tracphone is my carrier. I got a notification on the phone that it had downloaded drapn_m.

I did an internet search to see what that was, and didn't really find an answer. Just a few question-and-answer forums (not this one) where other people were asking about it. Nobody seemed to know what it was. The only answer that seemed a bit helpful was saying it may be some sort of malware and one should do a factory reset on the phone to get rid of it.

It's been just a couple of hours since I did that, and now already I'm getting a notification that it updated drapn_m. So I just wasted the time it took to do it. Should I just cut my losses, or do I need to be worried about the app?

Seems like a ad-loader of some kind. Did you just install any new apps that could have brought it with it?
