My phone died when someone hung up on me and now it's completely unresponsive

Samsung A3, only a month old, appeared to be working fine. It had charge when I was finishing a call and the other person hung up and the phone screen stayed black. I've tried holding down every button and plugging it in. Nothing. What else can I do?

If it's only a month old, I'd get it replaced under warranty.
