Why do I lose all lockscreen notifications immediately after i unlock the phone?

On my Huawei P10 Plus, actually on any huawei phone, I noticed that lockscreen notifications are lost immediately after unlocking the deivice and checking the notifications. This is the same on iOS and I hate that, can this be fixed? Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. I don't use this on my devices, but is there something in Settings>Display, or Notifications that can change that?

Are you expecting the notifications to stay on the screen after unlocking? That's not how they're designed. On your P10 those same notifications should be available in the pull-down "shade" at the top of the screen.

I'm confused, when you say checking the notification, do you mean you opened them?
