Android Central Question

I scanned my phone with AVL virus scanner from the Google Play Store and it told me it found a virus in file
System/lib/D12QL_linTsAf.so

Which it says is:
Trojan.Android.KungFu.a[sys,ori]

I also scanned with Malwarebytes, Kaspersky, and Avast, but none of them detected an issue. AVL also reported several Verizon apps as dangerous. Is this just a false positive, or should I format my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! I've never heard of that developer. They're a Chinese company (the website is completely in Chinese), and the app doesn't have very many installs in the Play Store. I'd get rid of it (and also Kaspersky, given their recent security concerns). Stick with Malwarebytes and Avast. Also, make sure Google Play Protect is turned on: https://www.android.com/play-protect/

OP, did you ever make any further progress with this? Just ran into the exact same issue, but I also ran AVG and it reported nothing. Campus security tells me my device has been sending traffic suggesting I have malware, but not work this name.
