my redmi note 4 is dropped in water,what to do now?

my phone is dropped in the bucket which is full of water.it is working for 5min. then it stopped working. I am shocked.obviously,i tried to turn it on,by charging. it indicating red light. so my question does the charging will affect may electronic circuit? suddenly i stoped the charging. so it will work either as it is or whether not.plzz help me.....

Using and charging have probably damaged circuits, yes. Also, water damage is progressive, even if the phone is not used..
