The state of Android Wear in Canada seems really slim right now.

If you want to get a watch that works with Android Pay there isn't really anything available except for Movdavo which is too expensive at $695 Canadian?
There seems to be more choices for non AW with Samsung but there are way less apps compared to AW. Leaning to Samsung S3 Frontier but the app integration worries me. Say like Beyondpod works right from watch on AW but I'm sure not on Gear S3 Frontier?
Do we need to wait for Google to put out their own AW watches?
Had a v1 Moto 360 but have not used in a couple of months due to poor battery life.
Last Question maybe most important for Smartwatches. These Smartwatches are $300 to $500+ and they show the battery size but how do you know that the Manufacturer didn't cheap out on the battery and when the one year warranty is up the battery will be toast? Who does Smartwatch battery replacement?
Maybe do an article how you interact with say audio apps on your phone when you own a Samsung Smartwatch? Say like Google Music, Beyondpod, Audible. Will you have to start in phone but then can only play/pause?
