Why I cant block calls without blocking messages

[Android Central Question]

Why I can't block just calls without blocking messages in edge s6 ! Because when I block someone incoming calls I can't receive their messages

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Contacts app, select a contact, and tap Menu -- is there an option to route all calls to voicemail? They'll still be able to leave you a voicemail, obviously, but at least it won't ring.
