Headphone symbol

[Android Central Question]

There is an headphone symbol at the task bar and i cannot hear anything when i attend incoming calls without turning on my speaker settings and cant hear music or anything.please help

That normally means that there's a headphone plugged into the headphone jack. It could also mean that a headphone plug is broken off inside the jack. If neither of these is true, it means a bad headphone jack that has to be replaced.
