How do i get remove an FBI virus on Samsung S8 if i cant do anything on the phone?

[Android Central Question]

I was browsing through the web on a free movies site thought i was safe but apperantly my "unknown sites protection" button in settings was off and allowed a virus to enter my phone accusing me of having child porn on my phone which i obviously didn't, I realized that when they asked for 500 dollars and that the "FBI" labled me as criminal that it was a scam. Did some research and called my phone carrier company and they said the my phone has a virus that blocks the usage of my device and that it obtained all my personal info. Im in a huge pickle because all my stuff is on my phone and i can only use it using google voice activation or bixby. I tried to hard reset it and reboot the phone... didnt do anything. I cant factory reset the phone out of the fear it will delete all my lifes info on it, and has the chance even to not get rid of the virus. ANY HELP OF HOW TO GET THIS CRAP OFF MY PHONE WITHOUT ANYHARM PLEASE REPLY. thank you!
