So out of the blue one night while charging my phone which is a galaxy s4 has decided to lose service and leave me with no bars randomly for periods of time in areas I usually have full bars. Now the kicker is everytime I restart my phone I regain service at 1-3 bars for about 10-30 min and then lose them again with the out of service area message even if the phone is sitting in the same spot and restarting the phone again temporarily restores my service. Sometimes I will regain reception for a couple hours at a time without doing anything but it always eventually disappears again. Not sure if it's related but sometimes when I take it out of my pocket it says Sim card removed restart required. Can anyone help me with this?

Welcome to Android Central! Talk to your carrier about this -- they might want to try a replacement SIM card.
