    When I press the phone icon that is displayed, the regular screen comes up, but it's difficult to answer a call now. I can't swipe the phone icon to answer the call.

    And when I finish a call, it shows a graphic of who I spoke to and offers options to call back. This graphics pops up with an ad attached to it too.

    Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? It's adware associated with a sneaky "feature" from one your apps. These are usually 3rd party apps you installed, but some preinstalled apps (like Peel Remote on Samsung phones) have also been known to do this kind of annoying thing. If you have Peel Remote, disable it. If you don't, then start uninstalling apps one by one until the problem goes away. Focus on apps like 3rd party file managers, keyboards, cameras, battery savers, and "RAM boosters."
