Welcome to Android Central! It looks like Total Wireless uses CDMA, so you'd at least have to get a G6 that supports CDMA. This would include the Verizon version (VS998) and the Sprint version (LS993):

According to this site, Total Wireless uses CDMA Band 10 (800 MHz) for 3G, and LTE Band 2 for 4G:
https://www.signalbooster.com/pages/...-in-usa-canada. The GSMArena site only mentions CDMA2000 1xEV-DO for 3G, but both variants do support LTE Band 2. So the phones will probably work, assuming they're carrier unlocked, but trying to activate CDMA phones on a different carrier can sometimes be trickier than GSM phones, where you just have to insert a SIM.
