Welcome to Android Central! You're talking about your screen lock password, and not your Google password, right? Unfortunately, you're probably out of luck. There's no way to retrieve that information (otherwise, it'd be a pretty poor security measure). Google's Find My Device won't help, because remotely setting a lock that way only works for a device that doesn't already have a screen lock set.
Older devices sometimes will prompt you for your Google account and password if you fail the unlock enough times -- what happens on your device?
