    Welcome to Android Central! It depends on the app, since some apps may create their own directories to save recordings to. Use a file manager app and look in the /Media or /Audio directories first. If you look through all of the available directories and can't find them, then they're gone. If you uninstalled a voice recorder app, then any recording it made may have been deleted at the same time.

    Or the app may have saved the recordings to its own directory in /data/data/<something>, which is accessible only by the app or superuser (which means that the phone has to be rooted to get to them).
